Shridevi Institute of Oncology & Research Centre is a comprehensive cancer care unit. The seven storied building complex of the oncology center with a total area of 40,000 sq feet has 60 beds exclusively for cancer patients. It is the only centre in India to have dedicated 16 slice CT scanner mated to IGRT machine for superior image guidance.
The center was conceived with the idea of providing the state of the art cancer treatment facilities at the most affordable price. The cancer center is a part of Shridevi institute of medical Sciences, a premier medical college with attached 1000 bedded multispeciailty hospital.
SIMSRH’s Oncology & Research Centre is one of the best centres to commission IGRT (Image guided radiation therapy) with respiratory gating apart from having other radiation equipment like High Dose Rate Brachytherapy (HDR).
The cancer centre also has the expertise to perform full range of cancer surgeries. It also offers complete range of chemotherapies in an inpatient as well as day care setting. It has a dedicated pain and palliative care department and is one of the few centres to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to its patients.
